Effective date: February 7, 2026
This agreement binds the user (hereinafter 'the Client' or 'the Hairstylist') to the AdeleCare platform (hereinafter 'the Company'). By accessing the platform, you accept these terms and conditions without reservation.
AdeleCare acts exclusively as a technological intermediary connecting Clients and Hairstylist service providers. AdeleCare is not a hair salon and does not provide hairdressing services directly.
2.1 Public Hairstylist (Free)
2.2 PRO Hairstylist
A hairstylist becomes a "Sponsor" if a new hairstylist uses their promo code within 3 days of registration. PRO status is granted for 30 days if the sponsor has at least 10 "active" referrals (having performed at least one service on the platform in the last 30 days).
4.1 Booking and Deposit
The Client pays a deposit via the platform at the time of confirmation:
4.2 Balance
A client who has completed 10 hairstyles via the platform within 12-month from January 1st to December 31st of the same year, is entitled to one free hairstyle from their favorite hairstylist. AdeleCare compensates the hairstylist according to pre-established internal procedures.
6.1 For Hairstylists
The hairstylist agrees to provide an accurate description of the hairstyle (maintenance, products, duration). They are solely responsible for the technical quality of the service and compliance with hygiene standards.
6.2 For AdeleCare
Any uploaded hairstyle photo must belong to the hairstylist. Using photos that do not belong to them will result in immediate account suspension without refund.
AdeleCare reserves the right to suspend any account in case of referral fraud, inappropriate behavior, or non-payment of the PRO subscription. A PRO hairstylist who cancels their subscription becomes "Public" again, and their private hairstyles enter the platform's shared domain.
9.1 Hairstylists' Tax Responsibility: Hairstylists act as independent self-employed workers and not as employees of AdeleCare. As such, it is each Hairstylist's responsibility to determine if they are considered a "small supplier" under tax laws or if they must register for GST and QST.
9.2 AdeleCare Service Fees: The deposit paid on the platform (23% or 25%) corresponds to the matchmaking services provided by AdeleCare.
9.3 Collaborative Economy (Tax Administration Act): In accordance with Revenu Québec's requirements for digital platforms, AdeleCare may be required to annually report to tax authorities the gross income generated by each Hairstylist via the platform. The Hairstylist agrees that their information (name, address, total income) will be transmitted to tax authorities upon request or by legal obligation.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the province of Quebec, Canada. Adelecare is a platform of a registered independent company. Any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of Quebec, QC.
